A result that stings after competing very well throughout the match. In the first half, we were able to match and at times outperform one of the best teams in the category. We had two very good chances, the clearest being a one-on-one by Fran Tremiño that the goalkeeper managed to stop. The first half ended with a 0-0 score.
In the second half, the home team pressed more. The game started to open up, with both teams seeking a goal. There were chances for both teams, and a fantastic save by Chema to prevent the 1-0.
However, in the 71st minute, Guille, who had just come into the game, put Crevillente ahead after a good team play.
Our team tried to equalize without success, and in the last play of the match, Guille scored again on the counterattack with our entire team committed to attack.
