This past Sunday, we traveled to L'Olleria to face a direct rival in the standings. L'Olleria displayed superiority and managed to score a fine goal from outside the box in the 15th minute, followed by two more goals in the 40th and 45th minutes, establishing a 2-0 and 3-0 lead just before halftime.
At the beginning of the second half, Carlos Canales made two tactical changes to try to alter the course of the game. Fran Tremiño narrowed the gap in the 51st minute with a goal in a one-on-one against the goalkeeper, bringing both teams closer. In the 60th minute, the home team committed a handball inside the penalty area, and Raúl converted the penalty into a goal.
Despite having opportunities to level the score, a goal by Pedro Juan that would have meant the equalizer was annulled due to a somewhat strict foul. The match concluded with a 3-2 result in favor of L'Olleria.
In the next match, we will return home to face Santa Pola, a team in a similar position in the standings.
