Last Saturday our team got their first away win of the season, leaving Villafranqueza with a 1-2 victory.
The first half was full of mistakes and duels between both teams but ended at half time with the score still 0-0. In the second half, Carlos Canales’ team came out a lot better and managed to get the first goal of the game. It was in the 80th minute with a Pascual header from a corner.
The elation wouldn’t last long on the Thader bench however, just minutes later the Alicante side equalized. It was right at the very death, in added time, that our striker Pedro Juan (PJ) gave the Rojales team the victory, and made sure the fans from Rojales went home with a smile on their faces.
To sum it all up, an important win to getting us back on track after some bad results. And the fans are still in the stands cheering the team on away and at home on the Moi Gomez
